This interactive tool will help you find different types of funding available specifically for Aboriginal peoples in Canada. If you wish to submit your Web site, or any other Web site, to the Aboriginal Funding Tool – you can add funding opportunities to the data base as well.

A Directory of Funding Sources for Healing Activities
This directory was developed in 2002 and revised in 2004 providing a list of  Federal Government, Provincial and Territorial Governments and Organizations, Churches, Private Foundations, Community Foundations funding healing activities in First Nation, Métis, and Inuit communities.

Ontario Trillium Foundation links to granting organizations and programs that may be of interest to not-for-profit or charitable aboriginal organizations as well as to First Nations, Métis and other Aboriginal communities.

Canadian Directory of Foundations and Corporations, Imagine Canada. First published in 1966, this Directory includes Foundations that give grants to support the work of other charities. There are approximately 3000 grantmaking foundations in Canada that give over $1.5 billion every year to support the work of charities and nonprofit organizations. Within the Directory grantseekers can find in depth details on each grantmaking foundation, including funding interests, granting region, recent granting history, and application procedures.

Ajah Fundtracker – A directory with list of funders of the Canadian non-profit sector. Including: All 10,000 public and private foundations, list of federal and provincial funding programs specifically for non-profits (over 700) and corporate funders (500 and growing).
